A sudden rainy day? No problem! So many are the things to do at Eurcamping. In addition to timeless board games, our animation team is happy to entertain you in our tent, for dry fun. For those who, however, would like a trip out of town, sightseeing, shopping or just relax, here are some tips on how to spend your day in Abruzzo.

Giocolandia

Giulianova (10 km). at Giocolandia you’ll find many fun attractions and games for your children, inflatable slides and a playground with trails. Moreover, trampolines, video games and indoor and outdoor soccer fields for children and adults.

Torre di Cerrano

Pineto (10 km). The fort takes its name from the river, located 500 meters far in Silvi. Today the Tower houses the Museum of Sea, the Info-Point Marine Protected Area and a Veterinary Medicine Centre.

Gran Shopping “Gran Sasso”

Teramo (25 km). Gran Sasso shopping centre is the place where you can spend a day in harmony with your family and do some crazy shopping.

Città Sant’Angelo Village

Città Sant’Angelo (25 km). The Village is the first large outlet centre in the southern Adriatic coast. As a result, it offers more than 120 designer stores in a complex architectural style that harks back to the charming local villages.

The Space Cinema

Montesilvano (30 km). A shopping centre is a good place for family and all visitors during the tourist season. Recently, Porto Allegro opened its very modern Space cinema (the largest of the region). What’s better than a movie on a rainy day?

Kronopolys

Colonnella (34 km): This shopping centre offers the possibility of a laser tag experience in a science fiction style Laser Wars. The arena is 380 square meters with a wonderful futuristic theme setting. Besides watching the show you can enjoy all the services offered by the shopping centre, like restaurants, live music and cinema.

Scala Santa di Campli

Campli (40 km). The Holy Stair of Campli is a Catholic place of worship, built in the second half of the eighteenth century, in the little town of Campli. 28 steps in wood to climb begging, on knees, give a possibility of absolution of one’s sins. Moreover, going up we can admire paintings that represent Christ’s Passion and stages of Christ towards the cross, to live His suffering.

Fortezza di Civitella del Tronto

Civitella (45 km). The fortress was built on the northern border of the ancient Kingdom of two Sicilies at the boundaries with the Vatican State. Hence it’s one of the largest and most important works of military engineering in Europe. Today the site is completely open to visitors.

Museo Archeologico Nazionale d’Abruzzo

Chieti (45 km). The National Archaeological Museum of Abruzzo is situated in the Villa Comunale in Chieti. It houses the most important collection of archaeological Abruzzo, documenting the culture of ancient Abruzzo from prehistory to the late imperial age and many more things.

Santuario di San Gabriele dell’Addolorata

San Gabriele (55 km). This sanctuary, in the province of Teramo, is among the most popular in Italy and Europe. It’s among the top fifteen most-visited sanctuaries in the world!

Terme di Caramanico

Caramanico (80 km). Caramanico Terme is a little and nice medieval town in the heart of the National Park of Majella at 650 metres of altitude. From 1576, the precious sulphur and mineral springs allow Caramanico Terme to be one of the most exclusive places of comfort and health.

Grotte di Stiffe

San Demetrio Ne’ Vestini (95 km). Stiffe Caves have a resurgence, which is the point where a river comes back to the ground after a stretch underground. This point is located at the apex of the gorge overlooking the small town called Stiffe. The river in the caves is, indeed, the most important feature.

Zafferano di Navelli

Navelli (100 km). Saffron is one of the most precious spices and the one cultivated in Navelli is considered the best in the world for its quality.
